PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT DALAM MENUNAIKAN ZAKAT HASIL PERTANIAN (PADI) DI DESA SAIK KECAMATAN KUANTAN MUDIK KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

Saik Village is one of tehe villages located in the subdistrict of Kuantan Mudik, which is mostly designated for rubber plantations, rice farming, and oil palm plantations. Seeing the extent or avilable land shows the potensial of zakat in the agticultural sector, especially rice in Saik Village, which is quite large. Zakat on agricultural products is zakat on the result of economic value plants or plants, such as grains, tubers, vegetables, fruit, ect. Where the result can be eaten by humans and animals. In the payment of zakat ( rice ) in the village of saik, the people did not understand and knew about the zakat Nisab (rice) which was in accordance whith islamic provisions, namely 5 wasaq / 653 Kg of rice / 520 Kg of rice. The knowledge of the saik village community about this rice farming zakat is 1000 bushels/1120 Kg rice/700 Kg of rice.This research is a field reseach located in  saik village, kuantan mudik subdistrict, kuantan singingi regency. The method of data collections is through observation, interviews and documentations. The data used from this study is composed of primary data and secondary data analyzed using qualitative deskriptive analysis.The result of the study found that the knowledge of saik village community toward the zakah nisab ( rice ) must reach 1000 bushels (rice). This knowledge is generally used by people who hasve been running from the past until now. Factors that influence the public’s knwledge of the zakah ratio of agricultural products (rice) include low education, the environment and the lack of sosialization to the public’s about zakah on agrikultural product’s (rice), especially about nisab that is in accordance with islamic provisions.
