Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of interest of the precious metal community in PT Pegadaian Syariah .. The problem formulation in this study was How Public Interest in Precious Metal Products and What are the factors Affecting Public Interest in Precious Metal Products at PT. Pawnshop Syariah Soebrantas branch Pekanbaru-Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine how public interest in Precious Metal Products in the Soebrantas branch of Sharia Pegadaian Pekanbaru-Riau. In this study, the population consisted of 144 sampling techniques using incidental sampling techniques, namely as many as 59 Customer. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study are that the implementation of precious metal products at Pawnshop Syariah Pekanbaru Riau is quite good, but there are still things that need to be improved, especially in terms of how to promote or market precious metal products to customers, while being seen from the factors that affect public interest in metal products. noble, namely economic factors, social factors, and encouragement factors within oneself.
