TATA KELOLA FASILITAS OBJEK WISATA AIR TERJUN GURUH GEMURAI DI DESA KASANG LUBUK JAMBI KECAMATAN KUANTAN MUDIK KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

The research was conducted in Kasang Lubuk Jambi Village, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, KuantanSingingi Regency on the Guruh Gemurai Waterfall and at the Tourism and Culture Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study aims to find out how the management of Guruh Gemurai Waterfall tourist facilities by the Kuantan Singingi Regency government. The informants in this study were 9 people using Purposive Sampling and Incidental Sampling techniques. The researcher found that there was a problem that the management of Guruh Gemurai Waterfall facilities has not yet optimal. This was due to the Government's lack of attention to damaged facilities and still not been repaired. But the Government will improve one of the facilities, namely the stairs going up and the stairs going down, the plan will be carried out this year, although it cannot be repaired at once because the budget already exists every year. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The researcher analyzes data from various sources obtained from the field using data collection methods by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research, it can be seen that the Facility Management of Guruh Gemurai Waterfall Tourism Object has not been running optimally.
