ANALYSIS OF HANDLING OF BAD CREDIT PT. BANK TABUNGAN NEGARA (BTN) (PERSERO) AT PEKANBARU BRANCH OFFICE
Abstract
This study aims to analyze bad credit or Non Performing Loans (NPL) on Home Ownership Loans (KPR) at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) (Persero) Pekanbaru Branch Office. The research data was obtained from credit quality data and several observations and direct interviews with parties related to bad credit. The research findings show that housing loans are divided into two, namely Subsidized Home Ownership Loans (KPR) and Non-Subsidized Housing Loans (KPR). Handling procedures for bad credit greatly affect the level of bad loans or non-performing loans (NPL) for companies and company activities. The number of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) in 2016 Mortgages is 2.83%, 2017 has decreased so that Bad Debts or Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) have become 2.35%, and in 2018 returned Non-performing loans have decreased so that the number of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) has become 1.75%. Procedures for handling bad credit can be done by way of Rescheduling, Reconditioning, Restructuring, Combination, and Foreclosure Guarantees. In its implementation, the procedure for Handling Bad Credit by PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) of pekanbaru branch Offices are in accordance with the cashmere theory which is the only difference between items from the procedure itself. The procedure for handling bad credit in a Home Ownership loan at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) branch namely Rescheduling, Reconditioning, Restructuring, Combination, and Foreclosure Guarantees.
