ANALISIS MANAGEMENT DAN REDAMAN FIBER OPTIC PADA PT. JALUR NET INFOTEK
Abstract
Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen jaringan dan redaman pada sistem fiber optik PT. Jalur Net Infotek. Redaman menjadi salah satu tantangan utama yang memengaruhi kualitas transmisi data. Faktor-faktor yang diidentifikasi sebagai penyebab redaman meliputi kualitas sambungan (splicing), konektor yang kotor atau rusak, serta usia dan kondisi kabel serat optik. Melalui implementasi sistem monitoring berbasis real-time, perbaikan konektor, dan optimalisasi teknik penyambungan, redaman berhasil dikurangi rata-rata sebesar 15-25%. Penurunan redaman ini memberikan dampak positif pada kinerja jaringan, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, dan memperbaiki pengalaman pelanggan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk pengelolaan jaringan fiber optik yang lebih baik, memastikan layanan telekomunikasi yang lebih stabil, cepat, dan andal bagi pelanggan.
