UJI KONSENTRASI PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobakteri) ASAL AKAR BAMBU DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN JAGUNG ( Zea mays L) PADA TANAH ULTISOL

Abstract

This study aims to determine the concentration of PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteri) from bamboo roots in increasing the growth and production of corn (Zea mays L) on ultisol soil. This research was carried out on 14 January 2019 in Sungai Jering subdistrict, Kuantan Tengah district, Kuantan Singingi regency, Riau Province. This study used a non factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) ie various concentrations of PGPR (Plant Growth Promotion Rhizobacteri) from bamboo roots (factor B) with 7 levels of treatment viz : B0 (without treatment), B1 (2,5 ml/L), B2 (5 ml/L), B3 (7,5 ml/L), B4 (10 ml/L), B5 (12,5 ml/L), and B6 (15 ml/L). The number of plots was 21 plots, consisting of 4 plants and 3 plants used as sample plants, 84 whole plants. Observation parameters are plant height (cm), age of flowering (days), age of harvest (days), weight of cob without kelobot (gram), dry shell weight (gram), and weight of 100 seeds (gram). The results of observation in each treatment were statistically analized by analysis of varience (AOF), if the F count obtained was greater than F table 5%, then continued with further tests of honest real difference at the 5% level. Based on the results of the study showed that the treatment of various concentrations of PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteri) from bamboo roots had a significant effect on corn plants. B4 (10 ml/L) treatment gives the fastest results to the observation of flowering age 50,44 days after planting.
