Abstract

The proliferation of Gold Mining in the Batang Kuantan river flow not only causes conflict with applicable laws, it also becomes the object of study in muamalah fiqh (economic law in Islam), related to the existence of people who rent their land to access illegal mining. Legal arguments that require that excavated gold mining should not be carried out individually, but managed by the government, so that if this mining is carried out it will have an impact on the environment and also include disobeying laws and regulations. And with the existence of people who want to rent out riverbanks for these gold mining activities, then the leases are a way or medium for something bad, the law is also bad.
