ASPEK TEKNIS PEMELIHARAAN AYAM KAMPUNG DI KECAMATAN KUANTAN MUDIK KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of farmers on the management of native chicken farms in five villages in Kuantan Mudik subdistrick, which  were caarried out in Banjar Adang village, Seberang Pantai, Pulau Binjai, koto Lubuk Jambi, Kasang  village, this research was conducted n october – desember 2018. The parameters of this study are the aspects of sleedlings, aspects of feed, aspects of the cage, aspects of reproduction, aspects of disease and post harvest aspects. The method used  in this study is a survey method and direct interviews whith respondents. Respodents are people who raise 10 native chickens in each village and have at lasts 3 years experience raising livestock. The results of this study can be concluded that the management of native chicken farms in five villages in the district of kuantan mudik can be seen from the aspect of the seeds score 2.50 with the category “high” the aspect of feed scores 1.87 with the category “medium”, the aspects of of production scores 1.70 with “medium” category, disease control aspect score 2with “medium” category, enclosure aspect score 2.57 with “high” category, and post hervest aspect score 2.00 with medium category”
