The Fundraising Strategy of Waqf's possessions by Syafa’aturrasul Islamic Boarding Schools

This research is based on the number of prospective students and the increasing interest of the community to send their children to Syafa'aturrasul Boarding School. This is a serious problem for Pondok Pesantren intercession who still has limited ability in accommodating prospective students, so it needs donors to help its development. This research aims to explain how the waqf property fundraising strategy applied by Pondok Pesantren Syafa'aturrasul and what are the supporting factors and inhibition. Then the research is qualitative descriptive research, using two data sources, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection is done with observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that there are several strategies implemented by Pondok Pesantren Syafa'aturrasul such as campaigns through social media and the utilization of Bank accounts. In addition, many things support the implementation of this strategy, but there are also things that hinder the implementation of fundraising strategy by Pondok Pesantren Syafa'aturrasul. The main inhibition factor is because there is no waqf body, but this strategy has a good impact for Pondok Presantren Syafa'aturrasul in collecting waqf assets such as, classrooms, drill wells, even money and so on in supporting the learning process of teaching in Safa'aturrasul Boarding School.
