Abstract

Education is a process of deliberate activity on student input to produce a desired result according to the goals set. As a deliberate process, the results of education must be evaluated to see whether the results achieved are in accordance with the desired goals. So that what the learning objectives can be achieved in accordance with what is expected and can improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Group Investigation model assisted by audio-visual media to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti subjects. The research methodology is located at SMP Negeri 2 Singingi. The research subjects were 1 PAI teacher and 28 8th grade students. The object of the research is the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Group Investigation model assisted by audio-visual media in an effort to improve learning outcomes in PAI and Budi Pekerti subjects in Class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Singingi. This type of research is (CAR). Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques are Pre-Cycle, Cycle I, Cycle II, Cycle III. The results showed that working using Cooperatif  Type Group Investigation assisted by audio visual media can improve student learning outcomes, this is evident from the observations obtained in each cycle PraSiklus 21.42%, Cycle I percentage 39.28%, Cycle II percentage 67.85%, Cycle III percentage 89.28%. Then it can be concluded that the Implementation of Cooperatif Learning Model Type Group Investigation Assisted by Audio Visual Media In an Effort to Improve Learning Outcomes in PAI and Budi Pekerti Subjects in Class VIII of SINGNG State Junior High School 2 can improve student learning outcomes.
