PENERAPAN STANDARD LAYOUT TATA LETAK RUANG PRODUKSI GUNA MENURUNKAN WASTE MOTION PADA UMKM DUTA BAWANG
Abstract
Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu UMKM Duta Bawang dalam merancang tata letak standar ruang produksi dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah belum adanya tata letak yang terstruktur, sehingga aliran proses produksi bawang goreng kurang efisien, menimbulkan waste motion, serta meningkatkan risiko bahaya kerja. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui observasi alur produksi, penyusunan alternatif layout, diskusi bersama mitra, hingga penentuan tata letak standar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan layout standar mampu mengurangi aktivitas bolak-balik pekerja, menurunkan lead time produksi, serta meningkatkan aspek keselamatan kerja melalui pemisahan area basah dan kering serta penataan jalur sirkulasi. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan solusi praktis bagi UMKM Duta Bawang, tetapi juga dapat menjadi model perbaikan tata letak sederhana yang dapat direplikasi pada UMKM sejenis untuk mendukung peningkatan produktivitas dan keselamatan kerja.
