PENGARUH DAN PENANGANAN CYBERCRIME DALAM PERKEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI
Abstract
The development of the internet world brings positive impacts that are beneficial to us, even though we also cannot ignore the negative impact that we will feel with the development of the internet. One of them is crime in the cyber world or what we are better known as cybercrime. The handling of cybercrime is: Modernizing the national criminal law and its procedural law, which is harmonized with international conventions related to these crimes. Improve the national computer network security system according to international standards. Increasing the understanding and expertise of law enforcement officials regarding prevention, investigation and prosecution of cases related to cybercrime. Raise citizen awareness about cybercrime issues and the importance of preventing these crimes from occurring. Increasing cooperation between countries, both bilaterally, regionally and multilaterally, in efforts to deal with cybercrime, including through extradition agreements and mutual assistance treaties.
