ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASI JAMUR ENTOMOPATOGEN TERHADAP LARVA KUMBANG TANDUK (Orictes rhinoceros) DARI RHIZOSFER KELAPA SAWIT DI PT. TRI BAKTI SARIMAS

Abstract

Entomopatogenic fungi are organisms that live as insect parasites that are used in environmentally friendly biological control. The purpose of this study was to determine the types and characteristics of entomopathogenics fungi in PT Tri Bakti Sarimas. The method used is the survey method, namely by observing and taking samples directly in the field. This research consisted of 2 samples of rhizosphere plant and immature plant rhizosphere soil and larv were brought to the laboratory of the Fakulty of Agriculture, Kuantan Singingi Islamic University for analysis. The results of isolation and characterization from both locations of oil palm rhizospere, obtained 23 soil samples, and 23 isolates obtained from 23 samples, and from these 13 isolates obtained 2 isolates of fungi that were entomopathogenic which were tested on horn beetle larvae after 3 weeks of application. The symptoms of the two isolates infected with the fungus are yellowish white and blackish brown which have the potential as biological agents.
