Abstract
This thesis discusses the effect of the Flipped Classroom learning model on student learning independence in the PAI-BP class XI subject at SMAN 1 Benai, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This is motivated by the teacher is no longer the main source of students in learning, but the teacher is only a facilitator for students in learning and is a demand for students to access learning materials from various quality and unlimited learning sources.This study aims to determine whether there is or not and how much the Flipped Classroom learning model affects the Independent Learning of Students at SMAN 1 Benai, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research methods used include observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. After calculating, it can be concluded that the statement being tested is valid as a whole because t count > t table, with the value of t count = 3,267 and the value of t table = 1,672. The significance value (sig.) of 0.000 is less than the probability of 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05, so it is found that there is an effect of the Flipped Classroom Learning Model on students’ learning independence.
