Abstract

This study aims to determine how the qualitative nature of Kuantan cattle in KuantanHilirSeberang District. This research was conducted on April 2 to 14 2018 in KuantanHilirSeberang District based on the chosen village. This study uses the method of survey and direct observation in the field. The number of samples observed were 50 animals, 10 males and 40 females. The parameters observed were feather color, fur color pattern, horn shape, gumba shape, socks color, and tail tip color. Based on the observation of the qualitative characteristics of male and female Kuantan cattle in KuantanHilirSeberangSubdistrict, the fur color of dominant male Kuantan cattle is 30% brownish white and 30% white, whereas in Kuantan cattle, the fur color is also dominantly brownish white fur 42 , 5% and white 30%. On the color of the cow's fur, male dominant Kuantan is 80%, and the dominant female is plain 72.5%. The shape of horns in male Kuantan cattle is 80% short, while the dominant form of female Kuantan cattle horn is 40% curved forward. The shape of the dolphin in the dominant male Kuantan cow is 90% small, and the dominant female has a small dolphin 95%. The color of the legs in cattle is predominantly 50% white, and females are predominantly brown-white 45%. While the shape of the tail end of cattle in male Kuantan is dominantly 80%, and dominant females are plain black 87.5%.
