Abstract

The material "Behavior of Obedience to Rules" in Islamic Education subjects at Senior High School’s grade aims to make students have a good attitude in obeying the applicable rules, including at school. So that a good understanding of the subject matter will affect students' attitudes in obeying the rules. At SMA Negeri 1 Sentajo Raya, symptoms were found that class XI students had a good understanding of the subject matter. However, it was also found that students violated school rules almost every day and repeated the act even though they had received guidance. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of understanding the material behavior of obeying the rules on students' attitudes in obeying school rules in Islamic Education subjects in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sentajo Raya. This research is a causal associative quantitative type with collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. While the analysis technique uses Simple Linear Regression. The results showed that there was no effect of "Understanding the Material of Obedience to Rules" on "Students' Attitudes in Obeying School Rules" based on the t-test where the t-test value was 1.837 < t-table value 1.994. Similarly, the results of the Significance Test where the value (Sig.) is 0.070 probability is 0.05.
